Today I wanted to talk to you about a subject that is closed to my heart: finding your purpose.

You hear everywhere that you need to find your purpose to be happy. But what if you won’t find your purpose at all? That means you won’t be happy? 

I need to tell this: it’s bullshit. 

And I also need to tell you this: I don’t find my purpose yet but I’m happier every day because I know what I want and I make my decisions toward it. 

So what you need to do instead of finding your purpose? 

Self-discovery guys! 

Ok, I explain myself. 

Know yourself better, know your values, and know your personality is one of the most important things in the world. 

I’m not kidding. 

If you don’t know yourself, if you don’t know what you want and you don’t know what makes you happy, you will make decisions that you will regret and that are not who you are. 
I think you know some examples from your own life. 

Know yourself better allows you to say no.

Know yourself better is learning to analyze your emotions, why you are stressed, why you’re happy. And finally, avoid situations in which you’re not feeling well and in the opposition try as much as possible to be in a situation in which you’re fulfilled. 

“Okay Anna, it’s great what you say. But how do I do?”

You will find on the internet a lot of questions you need to ask yourself to know yourself better. Really a lot of questions. 

But I selected only 10 questions that really changed my life. 
These 10 questions made me open my eyes to who I am and what I want.

Journaling is so much more than just writing every day. ⁣
⁣
When you’re stuck, asking yourself questions while writing, you realized that you can solve your problems faster than if you ruminate on them. ⁣
⁣
It doesn’t have to be perfect. Sometimes, I spend a whole week without writing. I do it when I feel I need it. I realize that I become too dramatic with my thoughts and when I write them down, I come down to earth. I find solutions to my problems and it helps me to be distressed. ⁣

The better way to start journaling? ⁣
Just startStart with thoughts that run through your head. ⁣
Results guaranteed!

When I decided to quit my job for another one with fewer working hours, I thought that I would have all day to do achieve what I wanted. ⁣
(Wrong!)⁣
⁣
And with this in mind, I spent my first months achieving nothing during my free time. I thought that I was productive because I was thinking a lot about the next steps, but I didn’t take any new actions.⁣
And then, some elements made me realized that nothing was really moving forward. We celebrated the first anniversary of my website with only 5 posts on it. (not really a celebration). ⁣

It was a wake-up call! 😱⁣
⁣
And actually, I still needed to go to work and do my 7-hour shift!⁣
⁣
Even if I had more time, I needed to find some methods to achieve more in less time, and not spend my day scrolling on social media. ⁣
⁣
In short, stop thinking and start doing. ⁣
⁣
For doing so, I have implemented methods to achieve a lot more in less time. It’s easy and it’s working! You don’t have to be a master of organization!⁣

Hey guys! I hope you’re fine and you’re ready for a new week!
I will be honest, I’m not ready at all. It’s the exact opposite! 
Even if sometimes it’s not the case, I love new weeks, I love the possibilities, I love fresh start...
But not today...
This morning, I was convinced that I was going to fail in what I’m undertaking. I was also convinced that I would never be happy and that I wouldn’t have my dream life.
And then, I went out in the park next to my apartment, and doing this made me feel so much better... It just forced me to take a break and think positively about life. 

What I accomplished for 2 years is huge. Even if it’s not life-changing compared to others, it’s already a something. And I’m in the right direction to achieve my goals. 

So if you feel overwhelmed, depressed, and lost, think about your journey. Think about what you accomplished. You can be proud! 💪🏻
